Charlie Fraser --- President and Broker in Charge

Charlie Fraser has been a living on Hilton Head Island since 1965 when his family moved to the island so his father, Joe Fraser, could work with his brother Charles on building Sea Pines Plantation.  Charlie began his real estate career as a real estate agent in 1981 for the family business at Sea Pines Real Estate.  He has been extensively involved in all aspects of the real estate business ever since.  He has been involved in residential development, short term rentals, commercial sales as well as residential sales and listings.  He also has been selling and managing resort properties in the low country for over 25 years.  Charlie enjoys the “Lowcountry Lifestyle” inshore and offshore fishing, hunting, and playing golf.  He is fortunate in that his wife Linda and their two kids all enjoy the Lowcountry lifestyle.

Jim Purcell --- Associate Broker

Jim Purcell has been involved in the real estate industry for over 14 years. Jim moved to Hilton Head Island 4 years ago from North Carolina to pursue his love of helping people fulfill their dreams of owning a piece of paradise which is commonly called Hilton Head Island. He has a Brokers License in both North Carolina and South Carolina. Jim is an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), a 2007 Realtor Service Award recipient and the President of the Tennis Association of Hilton Head Island. In his spare time he enjoys tennis, golf, cooking and spending time at the beach.

Barbara Verhey --- Associate Real Estate Sales Person

Barbara Verhey has joined the Charles Fraser Realty Group as a Realtor®. Barbara has earned certification as a Senior Real Estate Specialist, loves working with investors, families, and second home buyers. She specializes in Long Cove Club where she and husband, Bob are proud members. Barbara retired from a 30-year career with British Airways where she held various airport management positions. Barbara has been active in Literacy Volunteers, Habitat for Humanity and St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.  She has been recently selected for the HH/Bluffton Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class of 2008.

Barbara received her BA in Elementary Education and her MBA from St. Mary’s College of California. She and her husband, Bob are especially proud of their roles as grandparents to 4 adorable children in Minnesota. She enjoys Hilton Head’s natural beauty, biking, golf, and her real passion, ballroom dancing!

Jay Stidham is a native of Ohio, a former Class A PGA Golf Professional and has lived on HHI off and on since 1991.  Jay and his business partner Polly started a Real Estate Appraisal Company in Columbus Ohio in 1998 and currently own Appraisal Link here on HHI. Jay is actively involved in the appraisal business but is a great asset to our twma at Charles Fraser Realty Group
